New Designs for a New Age....

I'm trying my hand @ designing clothes. So far, I really like the denim skirt I've been working on.

One friend suggested I try making a blazer with a hoodie.

So, I'd have yo make one of these:

And add a hood to it...He says he knows a bunch of girls who'd wear it.

We'll see how this goes.

Nato's Halloween Quilt

I made this quilt top last year, here it is pinned, folded, & waiting to be hand-tied.

I just finished pinning it!! My fingers are SO sore, but it's FINALLY done!!

My FNSI spoils...

This is my New Home sewing machine. It is dated from 1941-1953, and it is awesome.

I use it for most of my sewing.

These are the new Muslin strips for the quilt frame ends.
The legs after being wiped down and let dry overnight.

That sheet on the right is made out of Muslin, and anything I can find online says that you attach Muslin to the quilt frame to be pinned to later.

I plan on doing 2 borders around the edge...and I'll also be adding her first name onto the front, and her last name onto the back.

I am trying to become more productive.

I made a list of quilts needing to be finished (not necessarily in this order) with a few at the bottom that have yet to be started.

I'm hoping that by keeping a list it will push me forward to finish them quicker.
