At last...

The last week or so, I've been trying REALLY hard to get my craft area kinda cleaned up & organized so as to better be able to get sewing done.

I've been quilting by hand, and sewing pants for my 3-year old son.

A few days ago, I made him a quilt 5"x 7" and hand quilted it.

I'm hoping to get lots of other projects worked on/finished over the next few days...

Accomplishments for yesterday and today, so far...

Yesterday, my bro-in-law came over to hang out with my husband, our kids, and myself.

While he & his brother visited, I got some work done. A while back, my bro-in-law gave me some pants of his that had worn out.

I took the good parts and made these awesomely adorable pants for my 3-year old son!!

I machine-sewed this quilt last night, and hand-quilted it this morning. It is 5in. by 7in.

Friday Night Sew-In results!!

Last night was QUITE productive!!

My husband's grandma in currently recieving treatment for cancer, so I'm making her a comfort lap quilt.

Last night, I pieced this top, sandwiched, and machine-basted it, as well as marking quilting lines.

Dive right in.....to paper-piecing!!

The candy corn block is one of 4 Halloween themed blocks to be used in a pillowcase.

The PacMan block was a practice block to see how I like using tracing paper for my foundation paper. Which I really do!!

I'm also going to make my husband an "Ultimate Geek Quilt" with blocks from http://www.fandominstitches.com/ and http://www.sewingonpaper.com/.

Stitch, stitch, stitching along...

Day before yesterday, I got together the pieces of a play cloak I'm making for my daughter, took out the sewing directions, and began piecing it together.

Apparently they don't make that pattern small enough for 2-3 year olds...the smallest size available is close to an 8-year old...So, both my children will have VERY draping cloaks!!
